Last updated: 15 October 2026. These terms are between you and Werkmade (contact support@werkmade.com) and cover the licence you buy on this site and the use of the plugin.
What you are buying
The plugin’s source code is free software released under the GNU General Public License v2.0 or later — you may use, study, modify and redistribute it under that licence, without paying us. What the licence fee buys is access to our update channel (including the paid asset library and bug fixes), licence validation for one shop, and email support for 12 months.
- One licence = one shop (one WordPress installation) and one active activation. A staging copy and a development copy are acceptable. You can deactivate a site in the plugin settings to move the licence to another site.
- Term: 12 months from purchase. Renewal is the same price unless we announce a change before it renews, and you can cancel renewal at any time in the Creem customer portal.
- If you do not renew the plugin keeps working with the last version you installed; you stop receiving updates and support.
- Do not share your licence key or resell access to our update servers. The code is free; our servers are not.
What the plugin does and does not do
- It displays content published by the European Union — the harmonised legal guarantee notice, the EU GARAN label and the statutory warnings in our libraries — in the language that matches the country of sale, and records having displayed it.
- It cannot decide for you which rules apply to your products, and it is not legal advice. We are not a law firm, we do not issue legal opinions and we do not certify anyone as compliant; the plugin never states that a shop is compliant. The sources of everything it displays are linked on the page itself.
- The content comes from official publications. If we find an error in our data or in how something is rendered, we will fix it and ship an update — tell us at the support address and we will answer within one business day.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country of residence. In particular, our voluntary 14-day refund policy sits on top of, and does not replace, those rights.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the plugin or these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses. We do not exclude liability where the law does not allow it — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and for fraud.
Changes, law and contact
- We may update these terms; the version that applies to your purchase is the one published when you bought it, and material changes are announced on this page with a new date at the top.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
